| Stevens 200 Accuracy
Am thinking about getting a Stevens 200 in 22-250 or 243, might even consider 223, but would like to know how accurate these rifles are. |

Some advice from direct experience. Spend more on a scope than the gun cost. Plan on getting rid of the stock at some point in time. Don't plan on shooting more than 3 rounds with a good cool down (at least with the 223)

Absolutely the best buy in rifles today! I just bought my fifth Stevens 200 and not a bad shooter in the bunch. I've been able to get sub-MOA groups using handloads with most of them less than 1.5" with all of them. They are not the prettiest rifles by any means, but they are light weight and shoot great. The triggers need some adjusting which is easily accomplished with a turn of a screw. The stocks are the ugliest shade of grey, but they paint up nice using Krylon's Fussion spray paint. My .243 likes 100gr. bullets best. Here's two photo's of my .243. I use it for coyote so I had to add a few paw prints-LOL. ![]() ![]() Don |

Best buy for the money. I agree good optics are a plus on any rifle platform. This is one of mine in 25-06.
