| Sounds like your cocking plunger isn't connecting with the cocking lever very well. Could be one of the springs is worn down to bad as well. |

| Senior Member ![]() | Could be several things...Bent firing pins, weak hammer springs, crudded up Raceways ,or crudded up slots where the pin retainers ride. I suggest taking it to a Qualified Gunsmith for repair...It is what we Do !!! Rich

| When you say take down manual take down how far. If it is complete disassembly then your better of taking it to a gunsmith. If you try it yourself and your not a smith then buy some antacids and take them first. You will need something to compress the springs with and alignment pins for reassembly. You will also need patience lots of patience. I learned how to work on that model from a schematic in an old gun parts catalog thats all we had. Let me know how it goes.

| Try Numrich they have some schematics there. I put a new spring in a Bioto and its not fun but it can be done, I would imagine that most of the doubles are made alike. I had the same problem and it was the hammer spring. |
