Question leagality question

Okay so i get the money to get a new shotgun and i go to a gunshop to get a used shotgun. this is the way it was when i bought the thing.

it has a cabinet door pull for a trigger guard. i was wondering whether i should take the time to buy a stock trigger guard or if it don't realy matter at all.

What is that? A model 220 or a Stevens 94?

D'oh!
No guns I have ever seen came stock with a drawer opening knob dealy (that's the technical term by the way) as a trigger guard, or those ugly looking screws to hold it on! No offense to either m1a or GGE. If it were me, I would try to find an original trigger guard, but if you don't want to, it should be fine like it is (if not a little less aesthetically appealing).

I think that's pretty funny, and I would leave it just the way it is. But that's just me.

you need to replace those ugly screws and install the original asphalt shingle nails.

for a classic touch ....
horseshoe nails.

Looks like the handle to my neighbor's gate. I wondered where that went...

That is hilarious - I wouldn't change it! I don't see how it could be a legal issue, it is serving the same purpose as the original - of course I am not a lawyer and am not giving legal advise! Please be careful shooting that thing though - who knows what else Bubba put his goofy little paws on! I would put that up as a "show-off at parties gun". If you need a shotgun, Go buy you a cheap Remington 870 for around $200 to actually shoot.

After looking at that picture, incredable, we should have a Bubba gun forum. I once found a Mark III Enfield where Bubba had shortened the forearm and hammered a large fenceing post staple as a hinge for a sling swivel. I couldn't beleive my eyes.
