| .17 HMR magazine question Hi everyone. Does anyone know if a .22 mag magazine will fit a 93R .17HMR? I have been told they will but.... The reason for this is trying to find a magazine larger than 5 rounds which Savage says is not available. They declined to answer the .22 mag compatability question though! Thanks! |

| Yes, the magazines are interchangeable in both rifles. The .17HMR is directly based on the .22WMR.

| If the magazines are both for a savage 93 then yes. I really don't think there are any mags for the 93 over 5 rounds. I have looked and looked and looked. I don't know if something like that exists. Marlin makes a 7 round mag for their .17HMR rifles. Maybe you could mod one of those, or have a gunsmith do it.
