Stevens 200 barrel change

I was wondering how hard is it to change the barrel out on my Stevens 200. I have a 22-250. I want to go to a bull barrel. Any info would be great.

It's not hard but it does require a few special tools, including a barrel-nut wrench, holding fixture, headspace gauges, etc. Midway has all of the stuff you need @ MidwayUSA — Shooting Supplies, Reloading, Gunsmithing, Ammunition, Gun Parts & Rifle Scopes

Thanks toolman. Is there any how to books or videos on this? Im thinking any visual aid or step by step instruction is going to be needed for this new guy.

Go to that link and look under the gunsmithing videos. I know one of the old Midway catalogs also had a step-by-step procedure for re-barrelling a Savage (Stevens). You might ask them about it.
