savage 1899 hi power

hey guys im really excited















hey..... im fortunate to be working on an old savage hi power...... a friend of mine showed me an old rifle..... it was an ugly looking piece of rusty doggy poop

he said his grandad and also his father used it....... it looked pretty poor.....



ive cleaned it up and it looks like a shooter to me....... with the help of the handloader dept on this net i located bullets for the gun and alsom located commercial reloadable ammo for this rifle.....

you would be surprised sometimes how well those old guns clean up..... im doing a friend a favor, plus, i get to shoot it whenever i want..... so.....stand by, i may be asking more questions in about two weeks, when i start shooting it..................... anyone with experience with 22 hi savage power? i think its kind of a rare calibre............
