Fred, Unless its a basket case, don"t "restore " it. It"ll be worth more. Shamrock

| s&w model 1000
I recently bought a S&W model 1000 from the early 80's as my first gun. Just wondering if they make a decent shotgun or if I got taken. After I bought it, I went home and found that there isn't a lot of info on this gun so I am kind of worried that I should have bought something more well known/reliable.

I saw a post from Feb 2008 by jsanluis asking about S&W 1000 Manual. I have one that won't cycle low brass shells. Is that a characteristic of the gun, age or what? Regardless, I would like to have a manual. |
