I'm wondering if anyone can identify the most inexpensive yet durable break open single shot 12ga shotgun. By durable, I mean can it take insanely heavy experimental loads (hey, I'm an engineering student). I'm looking to try new things, not compromise safety. Accuracy is unneccessary. Sub $100 is good, sub $80 is better, substandard is not worth manure.

Battle here is an idea it would be a few bucks more but you can get a rifle to in the deal -- go and buy either a NEF of a H&R handy rifle something pretty stout in caliber. Then all you have to do is sent the action into NEF and they will set you up with a Shotgun barrel for about 60 bucks. The block can handle larger pressures that the shotgun's action won't handle
