Thumbs up

That'd be a nice system, if you could afford to have several spare drum magazines.

If I'm not mistaken, the Street Sweepers, which were, I believe ruled to be naughty and not to be owned by people, had the same 10 round capacity. It seems that I've read that they were not reliable. I remember seeing one for sale in a pawn shop in the late 70's.

Fortunately, you are not correct. The Street Sweeper was/is a 12-round revolver. It was its extra two rounds and ugly looks that got it placed on the Destructive Device list by our guy Bill Clinton and his girl Janet Reno. You are correct that they were not very reliable. Once you fired the 12 rounds you had to use a stick to push out the empties.

The Sidewinder is nothing at all like a Street Sweeper.

I am so glad the guys at knoxx Finally got the sidewinder in to production.
Now that I cant afford one, I guess my luck is holding.
Ill get one some day, the whole "through put" that is now possible with a mossberg 12 gage equipped with the sidewinder attachment is remarkable.
most dont understand how much of an advantage the sidewinder is.
thats probably,............best.
(snicker snicker )

One thing I like about detachable mags on shotguns is the ability to use shorter barrels without sacrificing capacity.

Hey CaCruisin, did they ever get that alternate mag system working, the one that feeds into the receiver instead of the tube?

CenterFeed Mag System

We have had it completed for some time but are not implementing it as a conversion. We will be introducing a completely new and unique shotgun to the market in a year or so that will incorporate many revolutionary features and benefits to the shotgun. I can't say more than that but keep watching Knoxx for the most exciting developments in shotguns.

BTW, have you seen the new SpecOps and BreachersGrip stocks? They're on the website now. The SpecOps has taken off like crazy with LE and Military. Should do well with the regular guys too.

Good shooting,
