Shotgun Stocks

I have been eyeing a nice Maverick 88, but the standard stock that comes with it is junk. I have had a lot of aftermarket shotgun stocks, some good, some bad. Do any of you have suggestions on stocks that don't look stupid? If you got pics lets see em

Any Mossberg 500 stock will fit it.

I havn't tried it, but I would assume it'd be on par with the rest of their stuff, if you like a folding stock design I would get the Knoxx

Winchester model 12 Stocks can also be fitted to a Mossburg 500 or the Maverick. The Moss 500 was modeled after the Win. Mod. 12. I put a mod.12 trap stock on my Mossburg, and the only part I needed to fill with glass was the small tang behind the trigger guard(the mod.12 is bigger). So I have a rollover cheekpiece stock for use with a scope or reddot when it's set up for deer hunting. Eye alignment is ideal this way, and it handles recoil better.

I have two of the Knoxx stocks. They are both first rate products. I have the folding stock and the spec-ops (AR type) adjustable stock. No problems with either. I really like the folding stock version.

Our new tactical grade shotgun stock (fits Moss., Remington, Winchester, Norinco and Maveric) is used by Blackwater lead tactical shotgun instructor Tom Perroni. He endorses our product and won't use any other. Further, it has been my experience that the more expensive stocks that feature a 'recoil suppression system' ([i]read 'cheap spring rattling around in a hole[i]) can cause you to short stroke your 870 and leave you in a bind ( I'll refrain from casting dispersions at any manufacturer...they know who they are). Transition to side arm is the only solution when your weapon jams.

Simply put, our stock is better, stronger, guaranteed for life AND much less expensive. While nothing is 'cop proof', our stock is used by shotgun specialists who leave the other manufacturer's items to the home defender who is worried about the kick from a shotgun. If you're shooting correctly, you don't need a recoil suppression system. Witness the shooting-style of Mr. Turnipseed (google Turnipseed technique to see more) if you think you need something like that.

For these reasons, many of my armorer/rangemaster colleagues have pulled stocks off of ALL the shotguns in their armories in favor of our superior product. But don't take my word for it. I'll put my money where my mouth is and invite a public 'Pepsi Challenge'. I'll send ANYONE a test product to use for 60 days for free. If you hate it, send it back and tell us where you think we need improvement. You'll see that there is a reason why the 5th Special Forces Division and 7th Infantry Division out of Ft. Campbell will ONLY use our stock on patrol in Iraq.

Point of order. This stock is a completely separate line from the communist/eastern block rifle stocks sold by our retail division. This is engineered for duty carry exclusively and is as beefy and tough as a stock gets. Please let me prove it!
