Noble manufactured semi and pump and lever rifles as well as pump shotguns from 1953-1971. They were inexpensive utility guns that never became collectable, so value is from 75.00 to 300.00 depending on guage and features...That would be a safe gun to practice a refinish on !!!

Thumbs up

Nobles are good serviceable shotguns. I still have my 20gauge pump Dad got me back in the days when you could still mailorder them from Sears&Roebuck. It has bagged many squirrels and ducks.
If yours is like mine, the right side plate is aluminum, so it won't take blueing - a good firearm spray finish like Alumahyde II from Brownell's would be best there.
This is one gun that is good for refinishing. As a family heirloom, to be used as intended, you want to keep it in good shape for looks, and to make sure it keeps functioning well instead of rusting away. I like it that we don't have to worry about such silliness as "Collector Value" - we can "Rearsenal" our old guns properly.

Unhappy Noble Shotguns

Hi All!
Just joined the forum, wanted to say "Howdy" I can't agree more that Noble shotguns are very servicable. Sure they aren't collectors items, but then neither am I. But I've sure had a lotta fun with the old 602G my Dad got me when I turned 16. I've owned many guns since, but nobody's gonna buy that Noble! I do have to find a magazine end plug for it though. My brother lost it when I loaned it to him. Last time that will happen.
