| Wood or composite for x-3 I'm looking at getting the Winchester Super X-3. Problem is I can't decide on wood or composite. Please give me your opinions both good and bad each. ![]() |

| If you want good looks or think you might add something that will make it look better or be more functional it should be wood.If you want something that can ride in the back of a pickup,push briars out of your way,take severe pounding,and is light and weatherproof,if it fits you with no changes,go plastic..Personally I love both. samuel. |

| I doubt I'll be pushing briars aside with it. It'll be used mainly for wing shooting and kept in a hard case. I agree that wood looks a lot better, so that's the way I'll be going. |

| I likes real wood too, I can't argue the benefits of the plastic I just think they looks uglier than sin on a hunting shotgun or rifle .
