Rossi 20 GA slug gun

Does anybody have any info on how this gun preforms in the field? Does it kick like a mule?? It has a 3x9x40 Simmons scope on it. It is a single shot ported 23" rifled barrel with fiber sights. Saw it new in a local gun store with a good price tag on it ($195). And also what is the best sabot slug grouping and brand shot through this gun in your experiences? I know the best way to find out is to buy several bands and fire them too see, but I was hoping to save some cash. Thanks all..
