| Mr. Fixit ![]() | Is this a new gun? You may need to pull it apart and clean the action. Also make sure the barrel retention nut is tight. Don't overtighten it, just hand tight.

| Member | Hi, sometimes when the shotgun is new and come with the grease of factory and when you shoot many times the pouder unfired or rests of pouder is acumulated in this grease and this is a trouble for the extractor, or neddle of percutor. From Lima_ Perú Sorry with my english ![]() |

| Some barrels are too long and dont allow the bolt lock to enter the barrel lock completely. The reason it does it after firing is the metal expands when heated. If you understand firearms fairly good take a mill file and at the back of the piece that slides in the frame on the barrel, buff it down just a little so the barrel can go deeper in the frame allowing the bolt lock to completely engage in the barrel. This can happen to a Rem.870 too.It is fixed the same way.If you dont understand firearms go to a compitent gunsmith. The place you buff looks like a half moon.Right in front is the square hole the bolt lock goes in.Sometimes if the action is opening when you fire it can be cured the same way. sam.
