Talking Fox Sterlingworth A Grade 12Ga.98% Graded

I Have Two Guns For Sale One Is:
1. Fox Sterlingworth S/S 12Ga.30" Grade A @98% #88256
I Believe To Be A 1919. Beavertail Stock With Ivory Beads. I Paid 1,500 Only Because It's so Nice, Hope I Didn't Pay Too Much,But I Looked At Over 100 And Have Never Seen One This Clean. This Gun Was A Raffle Gun In Sunbury,Pa With A Firemans Silver Emblem On The Pistol Grip.

2.Fox Sterlingworth S/S 12 Ga.30 Grade A @95% #17874 I Believe To Be A 1910 Beavertail Stock,Paid 1,700.

Asking If I Paid To Much For Each?Or If Anyone Would Be Interested In Any Of The Two For Only What I Paid. The Blue Books Values Are Way Higher Than I Paid For As Nice A Shape The Both Are In.

Earl,
more info is needed that determines value....
1. Do either of them have auto-ejectors?
2. single or double triggers ?
3. Do you have pictures ?

Some Info

Mooseman: Thanks For The Info. None Have Auto Ejectors. I Believe The Letter "E" Would Be Stamped On The Underside Of The Barrel Around The BeaverTail Forearm Stock. Each Is Equipped With Two Triggers. Which Would Make The Both Of Them A Better Collectors Gun If They Were Singles Especially The 20 Ga. And The 16. But I Have The 12Ga. I've Been Hunting With All Four Guns Every Year For A Good Long Time. No Clicks, Always A Great Boom Sound! But Not Always A Downed Pheasant Or Grouse. About 80% Of The Birds Are Dead And Eaten At The End Of The Season. With The Other 20%. Missed. I Don't Have A http Area And I Don't Find Any Areas For Photos That I Have Taken. If You Know How To Do This Please Help Me Post I Have Four Photos.

when you start a Message.. notice the paper clip at the bar just above where you type...Click on it, a window will open...Click "Browse"..and find where the pics are on your computer...hit ok, when you get 2 pics in the window slots next to browse, click upload...you can then close that window when they are uploaded, go back to the paperclip, the little arrow window on the right and Click insert or Manage, and they should show as a bracketed Number up in the message window.
Click the submit reply button below...the pics should show up when it loads...
Rich

Oh and did they come with Fox Recoil pads or just butt plates ?

Pixs In Posted Area

The One Fox Has Original Butt Plate But The Other Raffle Gun Was A Sterling Deluxe That Was Ordered Recoil Pad And Ivory Site. Pictures Are In The Post Area. But They Do Not Do Very Good Justice. The Pictures Are Of The One Gun Only. I'll Try Maybe Another Day To Post The Others....... Earl. Sorry I'm Slow.

This is in the wrong forum. This area is for introductions, howdies and howareyas.

It is also pretty ballsy that someone's first few posts to a site would be to hock some guns.

We use to have a For Sale forum; don't know if there is still one active but if it is then your post should be in there.

Ok from what you told me one is a standard Sterlingworth the other is A Deluxe...
The first one, Deluxe at 98% is valued at 1,875.00
You may get a bit more since it has a special firemans emblem which can add up to 25% to the right person.
The second one Standard model at 95% is 1,250.00
These are Blue Book Values...

Paid Expense On Me

Thanks Sam For The Welcome. Maybe I Could Drive Them Down, Would Not Need FFL. Besides That Would Be Neighborly.

Hey Let Me Clear This Up OK. This Is The Post Zone, And I Would Be Selling The Foxes In The Paper This Week In PA Not On The "Gun And Game Forum". But The Way I Wrote It Could Be Taken Many Ways. I Apologize For That, But He Drew First Blood, No Need For That This Is A Friendly Forum With Extranet Conversation, Ok I'll Post Better Next Time.
Earl..............

Nothing against you earl; every now and then we get someone posting spam as their first post. You went right for it. Its not only ballsy, its damn rude and arrogant.

We'll see if you hang around after you make the sale. If you do then we'll be glad to have you, if not then I imagine you won't be missed.

Hey Guys Or Girls: I Bought This SKS Today It Still Has The Original Shipping Grease On It. Retractable Black Stock, Ret. Bayonet. It Also Came With The Original Top Short Stock In Wood And The Butt Stock Extra Is Wood. Four Clips And A Set Of Those Rounds Clipped On To A Material Which I Think Would Be Original Issue For Russians? I'm Thinking A 7.263 Cartridge Full Metal Jacket? Can You Still Buy Those? And How Much Would They Cost? Last Time I Purchased Some Was A Few Decades Back. Can't Wait To Try It Out...

Right 7.62 X 39 I Visited The Local Gun Guru And He Straighten Me Up Also. I'll Spend Some Time Today Cleaning Up The Baleen Off Of It And Give It A Good Work Out. I Also Forgot About The Cleaning Kit In The Pistol Grip And The Ramming Bar On The Back Side Of The Bayonet. The Little Wrench Maybe For Adjusting The Sites? It Seems That It Fits The Adjustments?................. Die dulei freure. Or Have A Nice Day In Latin... Earl

Ohhhhhh Boy That SKS Shoots Pretty Good. But I'll Be Giving It Away Around Christmas To A Good Friend. The Sterlingworths Did Not Sell In The PA Newspaper And That's Ok!
I've Been Trying To Work A Deal To Get This Ruger Red Label O/U 12Ga. For The Late Pheasant Hunting After The 25Th Of December. It's The KRL 4173 Model With The Engraved Pheasant. 26 " Barrels. Any Good Or Bad Reviews Would Be Appreciated

Happy Holidays To All
