I was at the gun store and picked up a Super X 3. ![]() I have the SX2, and I really like it, but........ It was very lively and lighter, but not too light. Nice gun. Winchester Rifles & Shotguns --- Super X3 Line |

I truly am sorry Jerry. I know how hard you resisted that thing. I saw the beads of sweat forming on your brow as you wrestled with that demon! I too have been there before and failed. Just remember, that it is an event and not a person. Forgive yourself, buy a case of shells, and shoot the poot out of that thing! Congrats! They seem to be great shotguns at an attractive price. Pretty too!

Jerry for committing this act I recommend that you go out and kill 400 clay pigeons in the next week.

Jerry, which one did you get? I followed the link and there are 10 different SX3 to choose from. Just curious. G-Meister

Those look like great guns but i feel your pain, I played with a savage today and almost didn't hand it back to the guy behind the counter.

I would like to try the SX3. Right now, I shoot a Beretta Xtrema 2, and love it. I had the Xtrema, and traded it for the X2 because it was lighter, trimmer and quicker gun than the old one. It feels a lot like a SBEII that kicks softer. |

I don't know how the Sx3 shoots, but it feels great. They trimmed up the forearm a bit, put a vent beneath it so the excess gas escapes instead of bouncing off the inside of the forearm, trimmed down the grip a bit, took a bunch of weight off the shell tube (aluminum or a polymer?) they put a brass ring where the gas hits on it, using a light contour barrel now, Plated the bolt assy for corrosion protection and slick cycling. A very fast cycling gun as well. Not that I need to shoot it as fast as Pat. I wish I could own several of the high end guns, Extrema, SX3, SBEII etc. I think I'll be shooting the SX2 for a while longer. |

I have heard good things from the Super X line, and did shoot the first model. If I couldn't have the Xtrema 2, I would have the SX3, I have seen too many problems with the SBEII. But, im sure your SX2 kills birds with the best of em. First bird hunt I am taking the Xtrema2 on is hopefully spring snow goose. My spring break is later this year, so I may have to make a stop in ND. |

It is amazing to me to see a shotgun that shoots as fast as a machine gun! Patrick is an amazing trick shot artist. A true pro and I am VERY glad I am not the one who has to supply him with shells!
