Baikal Double 20 gauge.

I finally got my new double courtesy of the NRA. Won this in a drawing.

Not to be outdone my wife purchased a Marlin 12g bolt action slug gun with scope. Some deer is going to die by her hands.

I had one of those in a 12 ga couldnt hit a thing with it think I was picking up the left barrel instead of the center rib. Anyways I dont have it anymore.

Mostly just wanted to say that dont listen to people that claim Baikals are junk. Between my dad and I we have owned 4 and only had problems out of 1 a O/U 12ga but I put almost 10,000 rounds out of it in a little over a month shooting clays. My dads "Lady Victoria" a 20 ga O/U. has had as of the last time I asked almost 100,000 rounds out of it over about a 8-10 year span. He has taken it to several presurve bird hunts where his group takes on average over 600 birds a weekend(about 8-12 shooters). And the "cheap" Baikal as keep going when Brownings, Beretta and SkBs have laid down on there owners. It may have been the owners fault, but I get tired hearing about Baikals being junk when I see them everyday shoot right with guns that cost 2x-3x as much.

Those russians make a pretty good shotgun. I have shot them and been able to hit with them. The only "trouble" if you can call it that, I have with them is that they are cast for a right hand shooter and I shoot leftie. Even with that they fit well point well and function with out hitch. From my own experiences.
