| What is the value of my A5 Magnum Twenty "Belgium made" My Grandfather passed away a month a go and I bought his A5 from my Grandmother. My Uncle put screw in chokes in the barel, which didn't help the value of the gun. This A5 is engrave, looks to be a hand job. The most distinct featcher of this gun is, it has brownings bust on the side of the receiver, and above that the words Magnum Twenty are scribed. My Grandfather was an avid hunter as I am so the bluing on the gun is worn some what. The action on the gun is as tight as a new one and the wood on the stock and forearm are scratched some what. The gun still operates fine. The SN is 3X51084. If anyone knows the value of this gun, let me know. By the way, I would never think of selling it because it has to many fond memories of my Grandfather. ![]() |

| Super Moderator ![]() ![]() | To determine the manufacturing date of your 20 Gage Belgium mader A5 shotgun, open the following link and follow the steps. Auto-5 Semi-Automatic Shotgun -- Browning Edit...I jumped ahead a little. Does the receiver say "Belgium" on it?

| The barrel is Belgium made. The only writing on the receiver is "Magnum Twenty" along with the bust of John Browning. On the bottom of the receiver in front of the magazine tray are the serial numbers. They are 73X51084. I down loaded the Brownig File, but for some reason I could'nt get it to run on my computer. The best I can come up with, the gun was made in the 70's and thats all. Last edited by Brian F; 01-24-2008 at 11:28 PM. |
