mossberg 590 skeet gun?

Is the mossberg 590 a good skeet/trap gun? i have been eying it for awhile now. I am wanting to get a shotgun for trap and skeet shooting and its either the remington 870 or the mossberg 590.

for skeet, or doubles trap, or sporting clays, an O/U or a semi auto is a much better choice. it can be done with a pump, but your going to miss alot of birds. the second bird is hard enough to hit without working the action between shots.

like i said, it will work, but you'll miss some birds because of it. the second bird of a pair is very hard to hit anyways even without having to pump the gun. pump guns work fine for singles trap though.

if you get hooked on shooting clay pigeons, it can get expensive. a perazzi is on my wish list. this one gets the job done, but still isnt my dream gun.
