springfield 67B .410 problem

I've done a total cleanup on a Springfield 67B and am having a problem with the feed tube. The plastic end keeps poping out into the reciever and when I load the shells come out. Is there something missing?
The end of the tube into the reciever has the small slit in it on the downward end.Perhaps there is a spring or something which is supposed to be there to prevent this?

They don't have a schematic on the web but if you send to numrich gun parts you could get one and find out what is missing.They may have what you need.Put numrich on your search bar. sam.
