What is the best way to lock a Winchester Model 1200 for transport? It is hard to find a cable that will fit through the receiver and loading port.

Any cable lock can be fitted trough the loading port and the ejection port.
My moss came with one and it's longer than it need to be.

Remove the barrel and put a regular padlock through the bolt hole and out the barrel mt hole at the frt of the reciever. This works best if you use a hard case for transport, but can be done in a soft case with some extra padding(wrap the barrel in a towel).

Bicycle cable locks are good too...
