polishing P220

Hello all, has anyone ever polished the trigger and action componants, throat and ramp, extractor and breech on their P220? I am thinking of doing that to mine but just wanted some input on it, I do know a couple people that have and are very pleased however I just want an opinion on a broader base. I have asked the same question on another gunboard but didn't get but 1 response, so either no one out there has or I am simply crazy for thinking of doing it to mine. Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Hart
