Does anybody have the Sig 1911 ?

I think it would be awesome if it is as accurate as my P229.

1911, tone down the caps. On the internet that is considered shouting. And btw, I like Kimber 1911's, JMHO. Sig needs to stick with the P 226 series.

.JMHO. YMMV. I also think Ruger needs to drop their Mini-14's, so your not alone lol.

I like the way sig makes the 1911 but the trigger seems like it has a little drag on everyone I have looked at. I have an HK USP Expert in .45, a Kimber Raptor in .45, a Kimber Eclipse Pro II in .45 and a Sig P220 in .45. I am currently looking at getting either a Wilson Combat or the Nighthawk in .45. the order I like them are:
Kimber Raptor
HK USP Expert
Kimber Eclipse Pro II
P220

If I was going to spend the cost of the GSR I would buy the Kimber, but that is just my oppinion.

I am waiting on my GSR TTT to be delivered. Got it from Buds Gun Shop. I narrowed down my choices to S&W 1911PD and Kimber Tactical Pro but chose the Sig based on internet research. Hope to have the S$W and Kimer to add to my cabinet someday also.

I had a chance to shoot one last Wed and it was a very pleasant experience. A nice variant but the owner was having trouble finding a holster to shoot IDPA with. I suggested a Kydex holster and a hair dryer tom heat up the holster interior and push the SIG into it for a fit.
