Sig 220 Stainless

Nope. I got a stainless P226, though. Well, the slide & barrel are stainless, the frame is some kind of strong aluminum alloy.

Sorry, I didn't clarify the model: Sig 220 -45 -ST. This is the new steel framed Sig 220. They also make a Sig 226-ST. Klaus I had a Sig 226 back about 3 years ago. It was a Sig Police Demo, sold by Sig to their authorized dealers. It was the most accurate 9mm I have ever owned.

I'm not new to handguns and I've got to say, out of all the handguns I've held and shot my P220 ST is by far in my personnel opinion the most comfortable, accurate, and hard hitting pistol I've ever had the pleasure of owning!!! I carry it everywhere I go.I've been told that .45's are too heavy and bulky to carry but I DISAGREE!!!! I'm 135 lb.'s and I've never had anyone notice that I'm carrying.Whether smmer or winter it's not noticeable enough to tell.I suggest that if you've never held one go to a gun store and put one in your hand.Mine came with plastic grips on it and extra rubber HOGUE grips in the case. To me the rubber grips add to the extreme comfort.But don't take my word for it .TRY ONE!!!!! Later, ELDOGG

tell me about it. your right on. mine is a p220 elite stainless with the new srt trigger. short stroke rapid fire comfort on a 45caliber platform like i never felt with anything else in my life. don't know why people say sigs are ugly , i happen to love the look ,not that thats important to me. the looks are just a perk. form follows function. anyone use +p ammo in thiers? very , very accurate out to (for me)20 / 25 yards. heavy as a cobble stone. it's my prized possesion. also try the new 250. just got one and it's amazing. compact 9 for now until modular caliber /size upgrade packages come out over the next year. I LOVE SIGS
