| Homemade range targets!
We just got done with these! 3 of them in the picture. Made out of scrap iron and conveyor belting. We got a roll of old belting and cut it to fit the iron and bolted the belting to the iron. Just staple or thumb tack your targets to belting and shoot away! The wind will not blow these down with the long legs on the bottom!

So that's what you are fixing up for the June shoot. Oughta be some fun to be had. I built some up out of 2x2's and recycled election campaign signs, the wind does move mine a bit even if I ballast the bases.

Those look nice. They should hold up real good. Is that a Suzuki 230 Quadrunner?

Those look nice and with that reinforced belt you should get alot of miles out of it before you need to change it. Should hold up really good. Lefthandshooter I would think a .22 would still go through it even though it is reinforced. I would be surprised if it didn't. |

Those are nice! I just stole rondog's idea and made some collapsible target stands from wood. I bet your's last a lot longer than mine, though.

| Get some rebar. Make 2 ea v-shaped ends. Weld a piece of pipe at the v and a support piece in the middle. (Draw a V. Now draw a line across the middle and a circle at the base of the V) That is how it should look. You now have the supports. Take a long piece of re-bar and stick one end in one V. Slide your targets on the re-bar. Use a piece of pipe between the targets to keep from sliding together. Attach the other V end. You now have a cheap and easy swing target set. I currently don't have the sets I made in my possession otherwise I could give you the measurements. |

| Here is another thing that works great for target stands. The flat leaf spring in the leaf spring set works great as a dual target holder. Use carriage bolts to hold your target to any target stand you make. I made a $h!+ load of metal targets and stands for a club I put together. I made knock down shotgun targets. Metal silhouettes, target stands. Rifle holders, props etc. |
