| Senior Member ![]() | Be aware! Don't screw up like me. I was giving the Yugo a cleaning today. I was cleaning around the gas port/selector all the sudden the button goes flying out. Iv'e seen this before. That much air time on a part means a spring. Luckily I found it on the floor at my feet. I don't know how it "popped out" just be carefull. Expect it. I couldn't have taken that apart if I tried.

| I had that happen once with my Colt 1911's recoil spring cap, when I removed the bushing - "Sproing!" I saw it hit the curtain and fall behind the TV - but I couldn't find it! I searched off&on for days. Finally ordered a new one. Once I had it installed, I took one more look behind the TV - there was the cap, staring up at me in the open! "DOH!" Oh well, now I got a spare.

| I've done both the SKS gas piston spring and 1911 recoil spring cap launch. The 1911 recoild spring cap actually left a deep depression in the dry wall ceiling of the dining room.

| I think we have all done that at one time or another...I have walked into the Gunsmith with a bag of parts and said, "Here..." more than once! But, I have also found that if the Smith is also a gun shop/retailer, and you buy some stuff from them and become a regular customer, thay have no problem with ALSO showing you how to do it yourself.

| Senior Member ![]() | Kina like this. I don't know about some of the claims, especially the accuracy claim. there are some others out there too. Gotta watch those regulations of course http://www.rifletech.com/yugobrake39-a.htm

| Hummmm, very interesting! Sure would like to see one with the launcher off, have a 1/2x28 die for AK's that have had the threads machined off,AR and other attachments work fine! I am selective on which weapon I operate on,observing regs,of course! |
