sks , stupid question time..

hey all need to know. why the hole in the back of the sks stock? and how do i date it? just bought two. love shooyin them, but info needed thanx buzz

The hole in the back isfor a cleaning kit that may or may not be there. Try sticking your finger in. Then, after getting it stuck, learn how not to do that.

The cleaning kits are more bother than anything else. They cause a 'twanging' noise in there, and the brushes are usually worn beyond use. The rod on the gun is too short for adequate cleaning too. Still, lots of guys like having the accessories, just to be complete. :nod:

The hole in the buttstock is for keeping some awesome Thai stick in there...you know...that stuff thats tied to a stick man!
