| 30 rounds of unreliability
I bought a 30 round steel mag for my yugo on cheaperthandirt's website, as everyone knows it wont feed correctly and consistently. After much thought, i thought of a possible way to fix the problem. tack weld a small 45 degree angle from where the tip of the bullet would be to the chamber Before: _O <--chamber bullet :|===> __| After: O <--chamber bullet: |===>_/ __________________________________________________ _______________ Just like a pistol would have. Does anyone think this would work? ****PS*** Please only post helpfull feed back, dont tekk me to keep my sks orriginal. Thank you. Last edited by Chronicphonics; 03-05-2007 at 02:31 AM. |

Building up the front of the magazine follower to raise the angle of the bullet will work too - BTDT.

It seems to me I bent the lips of the mag out a little but it could have been in.At any rate they work great now. Also, smooth any sharp edges off the lips. samuel.
