Here are 3 of my Yugoslavian M59/66 SKS rifles. They vary in appearance form unissued to excellent to shooter grade. Also 2 of my Albanian SKS rifles one is nice the other is well used.

The stock was a big prob when I bought it. It was beat up looking and didn't fit very well. That seems to be common though in the older SKS's. Mine is a Norinco Made in China. I am still trying to put a date on the rifle. Anyone know where I can find out what the numbers on it mean and figure a date of manufacture? Looks pretty good there Tex.
GoodAim,
Try going to this link. you should be able to learn about your SKS.

My Yugo SKS and Mosin-Nagant M44 seeing who's longer... lol. Both just standard. I have a sling and ammo pouch for the SKS, but they're not shown. The M44 might look a little rough because I tried to refinish it but on it's last coat of urathane it fell over...

Hello all, I'm new to the forum and new to the SKS. I would love to post a pic of my baby, but can't figure out how. Only had her a couple of months, I'm in love with her already! She is a (as far as I can tell ) un-issued stock Yugo. Working on getting her all dressed up.
