Coyote Rising

As some may remember, I / we had a fallout in July. I will gladly apologise to all moderators involved in this discussion. However, the issue still burns me even 5 months later. I had had to get my heart right with God. I feel very bad about what I said. Believe it or not, I am a christian. I just fell out of the pac for a few years. But have since re-dedicated my life to the Lord, and am trying to mend old wounds I left behind in the wake of my drunkenness. Not a drop to drink in the last 5 months! Never to drink again! I went from social drinker to getting plasterd every chance I got in the course of about 1 year. It only lasted for 2 years, but man did I mess things up. I could not see the crap I was causing around me! If you all can forgive me, I will NOT make the same mistakes again!
However, if you cannot, I understand. I do enjoy this forum. I enjoy shooting. And I enjoy discussing topics. But when someone calls me ignorant and a child BEFORE all the cussing started, just because I had an idea that was working with almost everyone around me. Well, I still beleave that was wrong & downright mean. I may be new here. But I have been shooting guns for over 20 years. And have been gunsmithing (uncertified, working for freinds & family members and my own stuff) for over 10 years. This pup is getting too long in the tooth to put up with much bs. Thank you for your time.

I wasn't part of what happened before, and don't know anything about it. But, sounds like you are getting your life straightened out - I am happy for you. Not that this is a democracy, but you have my vote for a second chance. Good Luck to ya!

I was not here at the time of the fuss but you seem sincere and have made changes in your life so I would like to see you get a second chance. Delighted that you have quit drinking and everyday you get through without a drink is a win for you. You will be in my prayers.

Welcome home

After 19 years of getting by one day at a time. I've walked the walk. I choose not to drink as it screws with target acquisicion, not to name a few other things.

Regards,

Schu

Thank you all. I hope to acuire another SKS soon. (Sold my last one in July when I was so mad. ) But I dont think I will ever get another YUGO. Had WAY too many problems with my old one! My first SKS (a NORINCO ) never, ever, ever, ever failed to feed, fire and eject. Reguardless of what brand/type of ammo I shot through it. I think the Norinco's are higher priced than the YOUGO's, but not having the gas system issues, I think it would be worth it. By the way, in bone stock form, does any one brand of SKS seem to be consistently more accurate than the other? Just curious.
