| Got my TAPCO stock And i think it looks amazing. it gives my SKS a whole look of its own. I also bought 2 20 round mags. Took me all of maybe 30 minutes to put on the new stock (about half the time was trying to find a way to flatten the new pins so the TAPCO hand guard would stay on). I'm gonna take it out shooting tomorrow so i'll let you know what i think. I'll also post pics as soon as i can |

| only thing left on it thats original anymore is the reciever, barrel, and gas tube assembly (which will even be changed over to an actual TAPCO gas tube assembly as soon as i find it cheap.) not to mention i only shoot this gun at my buddies house in his backyard. Yeah i know it still doesnt make it right to NOT meet the requirements exactly but also doesnt mean i have to meet them right off the bat. i can work my way towards them when the deals come along |

| yeah i know. and like i said by the time i'm done the only original parts on it will be the reciever, barrel, and grenade launcher ( that thing is too much work for me to try to do). I'll just make sure i dont take it anywhere that i'll get in trouble. and if i am going somewhere like that i can just put on the original stock again since i now know how to do that pin |

| Senior Member | Me wants some pictures! I don't think I've seen a Yugo with a Tapco stock.

| I settled on the tan one. idk why but i like the contrast of colors with the gun color and the black mags with the light tan stock i settled on a tan stock. i like how the color of the black mags and the gun barrel/reciever contrast with the lighter stock Last edited by nick112207; 12-08-2007 at 11:52 AM. | Senior Member | Interesting combo. I went with black because it makes it look more tactical. If I lived in a desert area, I would go with tan tough. I nearly bought the green one...looking back I almost regret not buying green...almost

| haha thats funny because they had green, black, and tan. but like i said for some reason the contrast of colors catches my attention. its odd because usually i prefer colors to match. guess its just because i liked the contrast of the original wood stock with the recieve/barrel with the wood color |

| Senior Member | I can see black mags with either other color stock because the metal is black and it matches. Anyway, get some pictures! We wants to see your improved toy!

| Great choice of stock!! I just got the camo version which looks freaking awesome. I was unable to get the old wood handle off of the gas tube unfortunately as the pin simply refused to come out no matter how hard I tried. I opted for the NC gastube with the rail for 21.00 + S/H and it looks awesome. I wish this weren't my son's gun cuz I am seriously jealous. It would be nice if tapco made a stock to fit the saiga rifles then I would be fine with my son having a killer looking gun. |
