I have been to two guns show since getting into this firearm collecting thing and I have not seen anything even close to a good buy or that I could not beat buying on line. Kind of dissapointed actually. Still fun to go look at stuff but so far I have spent all my money on line. Except my Dunham Sports mosin.

yeah phillip i did mean norinco, have no idea what happened to my spelling there, i know its an ok price for a normal norinco but what im asking is is the paratrooper versoin worth more, this is the first one ive ever seen in person so im thinking they have to be more rare, i acualy already have a normal norinco sks payed 250 dollers from my local store. anyway i should have been more clear ps letsroll, you are pritty much correct to from most of my experience. but every once in a while you can find somthing good |

Being it is a paratrooper, it is probably worth that. I wouldn't call it a great deal in my part of the country though. Prices do vary a little around the country. If you like it - buy it. It is a fair price - not a screaming deal though for around here. BTW - buy this before you spend money on those Mosins in your other post - this will increase in value much better than the Mosins!

If you buy the paratrooper SKS, you will be able to get the cleaning rod and the bayonet online with little trouble. I think gunbroker.com has both up for auction (separate auctions) right now; I was looking for something else and came across them last night.
