cleaning after firing corrosive ammo?

Hi all
After firing corrosive 7.62x39 ammo, what is the best way to clean the SKS? I own a #4 MK1 Long Branch Lee Enfield that I fire surplus ammo through, and I pour about a liter of boiling water down the barrel to remove the residue.(I even have an original Armourer's funnel to facilitate this!) I also use Sweet's 7.62 cleaner to remove the copper from the FMJ rounds. I noticed that this cleaner has a (very) strong ammonia content...would this by itself suffice to remove any corrosive buildup from firing surplus rounds through the SKS? (I have a Russian model on order-should be here late next month..)
Any info would be greatly appreciated!

water and soap will work fine,I would think just about anything that would neutralize the corrosive material,(salts) for black powder would work for corrosive primers.
