| Yugo's front sight housing tilted
My Yugo with gernade launcher has the front sight that has to be moved to extreme left to get the gun to shoot accurate. After looking at it I noticed that the front unit that holds the bayonet, Launcher sight and bayonet lug is not straight up and down with the barrel. My question is what is the best way to get that straight so that my front sight doesn't have to be so far left?

well on the yugo's the front sight assembly is pinned in place. They are mass produced firearms , most of the time you can try locking the barell in a vise and use a mylar hammer to "drift" the front sight over and hope it stays. you could also drive the roll pin out, straighten the sight lock down with vises and redrill to a slightly larger roll pin. Or you could deal with it like i did on my Yugo.

Thanks guys. Maybe I'll put a windage rear sight on so I can readjust the front sight back to the middle. Know of any good rear sights with windage capabilities?

jmp8927, I just took a look at the peep sight you put up. It advertises it requires no drilling and tapping to mount it. Am I correct in assuming that the screw on the right side of the peep sight fits into the receiver cover pin hole and replaces the receiver cover pin? Because if this is a correct perception on my part, it means that sight won't fit my Yugo M59/66A2. On that model the receiver cover pin is machined so it cannot be removed from the rifle. Am I right?

I put one on my Norinco, so I'm not sure what must be done to the Yugo. Yes it the bolt does go through the pin hole and yes you have to remove the pin first. I had to grind my pin down until it would fit through the hole. However, it does stay sighted in very well and it is more accurate once sighted in. It gives you horizontal adjustment while your front sight post gives you vertical. I like it a lot.
