| problem solved Well, after examining my trigger group I determined that using a heavier sear spring would prevent the hammer from falling after closing the bolt as it would when firing, resulting in uncontrolled full auto. I think the spring I used was an inch longer than the old one, but I didn't bother measuring it. I tested it by planting the muzzle on a carpeted floor and opening the floor plate, then pulling the bolt back and realising it as quickly as possible to try to get the hammer to fall, which it didn't (I did this about 20 times). Total cost of this fix, 60 cents. ![]() ![]() btw, this sks has an above average trigger.
