LOL Geo I have a yugo that I love also but I am finding the SKS to be pretty adictive

took mine out today! i had forgotten good it felt to shoot the sks. ive been so rapped upin mosins that id been ignoring my sks until today, i find i do waste a lot more ammo with a semiauto tha with a bolt action though and 7.62x39 isnt as cheap as it used to be.....

I must correct myself reference the "Norinco" moniker! I spoke too soon. Additional research has shown that in fact a whole lot of type 56's were built by Norinco! My Bad! They continue to develop weapons from gas/fuel bombs to rocket guidance systems. Sorry for the misstep! One of their productions in small arms is this one:

Marion, is your barrel pinned or screwed in? Does it have a Russian bolt or Chinese and do the bolt numbers match the rest? My reason for asking is my sks has no Chinese markings with the exception of the triangle 26. Parts are all milled like the AK. My bolt number doesnt match and is definately Cinese with no. less than 10,000. These are a real mystery, or so it seems to me.
