Agreed!! There I was.. Just minding my own business when WHAM!!! out of the blue he held a pound of frozen bacon to my head and MADE me go up to Monroe and buy that Tula SKS..
I was saving that money for a donation to my favorite charity where you volunteer to give unwed mothers a start.. ![]() Now, I have another evil gun.. It's extra evil because of the way he forced me to use that money I was saving to purchase the rifle.. Now the rifle seems tainted.. ![]() I guess I'll just suffer through it.. ![]()

Re: the ejection problem. Detail-strip the gas system and clean it thoroughly with Hoppe's No. 9 or mineral spirits. Pay special attention to the gas ports, and remember that the cleaning kit in the stock has a special tool for cleaning the gas ports. The fact it will fire 7 rounds before failing to extract makes me suspect there is still some cosmoline in the gas system. 7 round probably hears it up enough to run and clog the ports, and when you stop because of the ejection trouble it pools somewhere else. Let us know how you make out with it. Whatever the problem and the solution may be, knowing the symptoms and the fix will be useful. |
