Russian

Saw a '52 (if I remember) Tula SKS for sale yesterday. In the low $200's I think. Stock would have to be refinished, its was rough. I already have a Tula though.

whered you see it? and you still could have refinished the stock and sold it at a profit.

The low $200's for a Russian SKS is a good price as long as it oparates right and the metal is in good shape. If I were you, I'd atleast buy it to refinigh the stock and sell it for profit like squirrel said, but if you're anything like me, you would buy it with those intentions, but then not be able to ever part with it! lol

I haven't a clue as to what they normally go for there Marion. In this case my friend, you'd know more than I. lol Wish I could've returned the favor for the help you gave me.

Paratroopers are a little rare I think. The sporter Chinese SKS also is even more rare.

1) The Tula SKS ended up having some issues, so no sale.

2) Marion, the Paratroopers usually go for a bit higher. If that one is in good shape, I'd buy it!
