SKS Drum Magazines

I recently purchased a SKS drum magazine.
I shot it yesterday for the first time.

All the crap you hear about them not working is poop.
My 30 rd mags suck cheese, however this 75 rd. Chinese manuf. Drum is my new best friend.
Great feed and smooth as my AK drum mag.

The magazine catch needed to be "persuaded/bent" a bit to latch properly onto the rifle but it functions well now.

the pics are from my phone..srry about quality.
But yes it is for sale..

This is on an SKS? How does it effect the balance, etc ?
Also, how much did you have to pay for it?
I've got a Norinco origanal that I would like to keep military but I would like having a large cap. magizine.
Thanks for the post.

I've seen them around. I always thought they were an AK-47 drum modified for the SKS. Good to know they work.

I've heard they will not fit if you still have a wood stock. Or at least non Chinese ones.

Nope, the drum fits and works in both a Norinco and a Romanian.
