Also counts as a Negligent discharge! Should have been pointing down-range, not up towards the sky!!

My sons and I shoot LOTs of the various versions of Wolf fodder through our 4 SKS's - 3 Yugo, 1 Russian - w/o ever a hiccup. Tried some "American Eagle" and it has "doubled" a couple of times in two of our Yugo's so won't be buying anymore of it. FWIW - The firing pins have been strip cleaned, pins and channels polished etc. and rattle freely. Softer primers in the "A-E"??

The point is, always keep loaded weapons pointed downrange, not up.
You found the reason for the rule.

No, the point is that no matter where I had it pointed it still would have gone off.

And there wouldn't be a hole in the roof, if it was pointed DOWNrange is the point.

Is the topic of this thread holes in roofs? No, its about slamfires. If I did have it pointed downrange and it went over the top then it would have been headed for a highway.

David I dont know you but I want you to know that there is one thing most on here agree and thats that safety is a number one issue..If I had been the range officer at that range you would have been banned for life ..All bullets that go up in the air come down somewhere ..and you stated that you knew it was going to do that and you did it anyway??you sir are a foolish man !!I am going to assume you are very young ! I would hate to think that a man would reach a older age with your attitude toward fire arms ..

The topic of the thread was/is about the SKS and its propensity toward slam fires. You offered up the info on shooting a hole through the roof. You made a serious safety error, wether you knew it would slam fire or not is not the point. We never know what can happen, that is why you keep it pointed downrange at all times. What if there were a steel beam above you? It could have ricocheted and killed someone. People here will always call you on a safety issue, it is the responsible thing to do !! We aren't jumping on you for amusement, so just be safer next time is all we are asking.

Well the "range officer" there was an illegal mexican, all he did was laugh about it. And when I said that I knew that it was going to slamfire I was being sarcastic. You sir are a senile man! I would hate to think that a young person's mind would be as dull as your's is.

Hey Swede or Marion. I checked Murray's site, it does say for all others, but rather or before I email him, I thought I'd ask you 2. Will the same one that fits or is for the Yugo or all others also fit or work in the Romanian?
