azgunnut01: In the middle, one of yours has a much longer hand guard, which covers most of the gas tube. What country produced this type? Wish I knew how to post any photo. You motley hordes from the frozen uncharted forests would leer with gleaming eyes at my virgin, "cherry" Norinco with unbridled lust in your hearts. |

My Yugo. Sold to me as a Russian, back before I knew the difference. I wish I'd left my stock alone even though the camo turned out o.k.

| My SKS's
I have: 1958 Romanian all numbers matching original... personal favorite... completely reliable Norinco Chinese tactical... nothin' but jams, clip issues etc... Mass produced problems! Think I am converting old trusty to tactical next project, IMHO just a better made weapon |

It takes the detachables but not the AK. mags. Came with a 30 rounder and the guy has the original but forgot to bring it for me. He's going to mail it or we can meet at the range again. This is how he bought it. It still has quite a bit of cosmo also.So will have to give it a good cleaning before I shoot it.

My recently purchased (sexy) 1954 Tula and company.... The SKS and variants are getting pretty damn hard to find out here in (Western) Canada. I'd love to get my hands on a VietNam war era ChiCom Type 56.... |

K75RT, those are some nice rifles. I especially like the last Albanian. Do you shoot the Albanians?
