Smile Dressing Up The Yugo SKS!

Took one of my Yugo's and did some mods. I added a see-thru scope mount and a Tasco Red Dot sight. I also ventilated the original handguard and did some mods on the trigger group.

Question

I have a nine page manual with graphics I wrote on adjusting the Yugo SKS trigger group. I would post it but I'm not sure how? I can make it a zip file if necessary. If anyone is interested I'll give it a shot.

Thumbs up

Nice Yugo, Chek! You have the same scope mount I've got, though mine is carrying a 4X shorty scope. I replaced the bayonet with a bipod. These are great little shooters!

Yep, it's a keeper! At 105 yards with the bag rest and using the iron sights it would pulverize football size rocks. Unfortunately I shot up all the rocks in the berm (gravel now). I'm trying to convince the range director to hang up a steel plate. His reply was "If we did that, somebody is gonna walk up real close to it and start shooting at it" He's right of course. Somebody would probably get hurt and thats the end of the range.

Yep! The wife wasn't to thrilled about using the table. I told her a few flower arrangements and it would look great. I told her it could be worse, I could clean the rifle on the table! At that point she spouted a few intresting phrases which reminded me of the Philipino Chief Petty Officer I had in boot camp!

Yep!

I got the same thing. I tested it earlier today and it was ok. The doc was revised and resubmitted, that might be the problem. I'll send an email to k8cca and let em know. Murphy's Law strikes again.

Talking Yugo SKS

Hey!

Oops! I didn't account for the name change in the new file. Lets try it again. The doc is zipped (winzip-faster download). If you don't have the program you can get it for free at:
www.winzip.com

The document can be accessed at:
www.i2k.com/~emoore/Yugo2ADJ.zip

Thanks again to k8cca for correcting the problem!

Note: This info is provided for educational purposes only! Any modifications done improperly could render the firearm unsafe, unuseable, or illegal!

Enjoy!
