I like a .22 long rifle hollow point Match a good rifle to a good scope and let the mushroom effect do its work.

| .410/.22LR combo. If one don't get 'em, the other one will. (Hopefully.)

17hmr by far. Will take rabbits out as far as you can shoot it accurately. I reckon I could take them out to 200 on a dead still day. Even headshots out to 150 is possible with it. 22lr is fine out to 75 or so but its alot of drop to compensate. Apart from that its a 22-250 to see how high you can get them in the air. Shotguns are that effective I dont even think its fun. They have their place but theres something about a single projectile taking something a long way off that requires a bit of skill and patience. Much more enjoyable.

I do!!! i hardly ever get to shoot at a sitting rabbit i don't even know how its done lol. Occasionally i jump a stupid one that runs 20 yards and sits but then the 12 gauge takes its head off

I combo out with, 12 gauge and 17HMR I voted for the 17 HMR, I have killed more rabbits by my 17 then 12 gauge. I shoulder the 12 gauge, if the get away/ see them ahead, no doubt, their dead. ![]()
