man i miss hunting spruce hen and rabbits (ok snowshoe hare) I meen REAL rabbits not piddly lil cottentails lol.

Yea took the 22 out last week an took a dozen, couple in the crock pot for stew and the rest bunny burger.

Hey Moose- You can bring me all the hare you care to shoot. I eat it often, and I try to share with an older friend as much as I can. She loves rabbit from her younger days in Goergia. I've lost track of the population cycle, and don't know how this year measures up.

The only way I can keep track of the population cycle is if I start seeing Lynx, when you start seeing the cats you know the bunnys are a plenty.

If I remember correctly (and usually don't) they are on a 7 rear cycle of population growth, then crash.
