My new 5904.

Just about a week ago I posted asking about the Smith & Wesson 5904. I tested the trigger, which felt very much like the SA/DA trigger of my Ruger P95, checked for magazine availability (in which I learned the amazing compatibility of the S&W 5900 series magazines), and heard glowing recommendations from a few people at the gun show not even related to the booth selling said firearm. The day after my posting I bought it for approximately $390.00 USD (including taxes and such), in what I would classify as 85-95% condition. I say 85 because the slide is lighter then the rest of the firearm, possibly due to holstering (or maybe it's just that way from the factory), and there appears to be wear at the front of the slide, probably from holstering, though it is very hard to tell as the edges glisten, regardless of lighting, so I can't actually be sure. Other then that, the slide rails didn't even have wear marks until I spent the next few days playing with it. I only waited so long to post this because I wanted a camera available to add pictures. P.S. Thanks to Habakkuk21 for your advice.

Usually very dependable pistols. Should give you many hours of service.

I was hoping more for "many years of service", but I have others, so I guess that will have to do.
