Age of S&W .38

Hi, my is David please help

My first post...........

Have an Airweight 38 SPL CTG
# 425XXX stamped in the metal frame bottom
side between the grips. Am trying to determine
the age of the gun. (enclosed is a photo)

This was my Dad's pistol.

Age of your gun according to the standard smith & wesson catalog

1961 - 1968 Range for sure....

Thanks for the info. My wife will be using this gun for protection. Plan to have Crimson Trace grips installed.
