well i went ahead and bought a Springfield Armory XD 9mm 5" Tactical model, the thing shoots as good or better than any Glock i have had the pleasure of owning or firing, is plain nice shooting ran a hundred rounds through it so far not a single hiccup, fired one magazine as fast as i could squeeze em off and not a problem

I had a XD-40 and a XD-45. Loved both and shot really well.
Only problem is they are not left hand friendly.
