Model 65 no dash

A little help please...

I was recently given a model 65, no dash, 4" in stainless. It's in pretty good condition, locks up tight, with just some minor surface scratches. Can anyone tell me approx. date of manufacure? value? thanks !

I would call Smith & Wesson Customer Service. If you give them the serial # they should be able to tell you for sure.

Yep, what Gary said. I would guestimate early to mid 70's, my issue gun was a 65-2 , new in 1983
