| Good news from congress I recieved this e-mail this morning. Oz Good News!! - S.B. 357, The bill that protects Firearm Manufacturers from Junk Lawsuits has been finally passed and is on it's way to the President's Desk where he has said he will sign it. This will stop cities from blaming Firearm Manfacturers from being sued over the wrongful deeds of others, such as the criminal use of firearms. It puts the responsibility back on the criminal or individual where it belongs. It will not shield companies from making a bad or defective product. This is a win for the good guys, Thanks in big part to the NRA and all the voting gun owners who contacted their Congressmen and Senators. Best regards, Gene Kelly, President American Gunsmithing Institute This is an opt-in only newsletter that you have signed up for.

| Splendid news. If only you had the benefit of it in your country as well.

| Unfortunately, it isn't a 'clean bill'. It does have that egregious gun lock provision in it. That could be strengthened in future to require all guns to be kept locked - we'd end up reamed in the long run. Have to see how this plays out . . .

| no effect on Bolivia. One bit of bad news for Bolivia is they manufacture very little and what they do, firearms are not amoung it. But if they did manufacture firearms here they would be 3 times the price anywhere else and be poor quality. Bolivia has no iron ore therefore no steel. No smeltering plants, therefore all metal is imported. Since the economy is real bad, quality general consumer products are not imported. People have ways around this, private parties have good quality equipment, but at a price. I'm not so sure I'm against gun locks, mine is not, but it is locked in the closet and the key is not around my neck. It would take me time to get to my revolver and load it. Oz
