browning a5 belgium jamming

i have a a5 12 g it chambers first round and james when it tries to chamber second. gunsmith said it is the liftgate??? i have looked at drawings of gun and cannot find a liftgate in photo. he said it is a hard item to get and he would find me one at the gun shows he goes to. said part is between 40 to 60 dollars need help on this. am new to this sight thanks

I Believe what you are looking for is called a Carrier assembly( part #PO11064) which is E-Gun parts #473970 . However, I would consider sending it Back to Browning for repair as this May or may Not be the Problem and Not every gunsmith is Qualified to work on Brownings ! Call them at 1-800-322-4626 and find out !

You may want to look at #PO11070 Item #474030 which is the Carrier Dog and related follower,pin and spring as these are what operates the Shell carrier when the bolt retracts. The A5 has a Bunch of small parts that work together and They have to be right to function. One of the main reasons I recommend Factory Service since you aren't in My Neighborhood !
